Hail Shai-Halud.

Got this on a whim, wasn't even a Dune fan or anything. Just played the beta and only recently watched the Dune movies.

This game hit the spot fr. If you like survival crafts and a story this is what you want. The beta hooked me and the full release pulled me in even more. The Dune universe allows them to add in some really cool features (Sandworm, patrol ships, etc.) that really up the stakes whenever you decide to venture out. Also some really fun traversal options (grappling hook, leap belt, sand bike) so cutting across the map doesn't feel like such a chore. Very chill game play loop and definitely more fun with a crew.

Overall: If you are looking for a main game/your next survival craft, this is definitely the move. 8/10.

Unique little horror game. Not your typical hallway pop up scare type, but a slower, more methodical horror that will make have you solving a series of puzzles that are labeled as episodes. Each episode is unique and his its own game play elements which make it pretty different from other episodes.

Also, props to the devs: this game has one of the best recreations of the 80s vibe.

Overall: 6.9/10

10/10 banger reworked and polished.

This game truly is one of the only titles that deserves the masterpiece rating. It has been reworked to use TLOU2's engine and lawd it hits. The gunplay is better than ever, the movement is much smoother, and the game looks amazing.

Buy on sale if you've played before, buy full price if you haven't played.

Exquisite co-op experience. Short and sweet, and the achievements were simple.

House Flipper is an exquisite sim experience.

The game revolves around you turning run down properties into full fledged homes/office spaces. The campaign mode is just a guided mode of the game play and is quite fun to go through to learn what you can do when flipping your own properties.

There is a lot of content available through the DLC which will definitely be worth your time as they add interesting augments and changes to the core gameplay.

As far as 100% completion goes, no achievements were difficult, there are just a lot of them. There is a tad grind to get through all the levels and sell all the houses. But all in all very enjoyable achievement list.

Overall: 6.9... Masterful

Hear ye, hear ye.

This is a great simulator game. There is an open world to explore (surprising I know), NPC encounters, thievery and more. The art direction really makes this game feel cozier, more so than other simulators, it has a unique charm which I can appreciate.

I do like that your tavern can get BUSY. Sometimes you will be overwhelmed by the amount of customers. But the good news is that there are only a handful of situations where you need to rush.

As far as 100%, this game is a chill grind that should only take ~12 hours to complete. Very enjoyable all the way through and the game did not force you to let it overstay it's welcome with any over the top achievements.

Overall: Exquisite (6.9/10)

This game is simply a masterpiece. They have cracked the dopamine/video game connection.

First off, don't let the simulation tag fool you, this is not just your run of the mill simulation type. This game has an interesting gritty story, voice acting, collectibles and more.

The game play loop is satisfying and the skill tree really makes you feel like your tools are more effective which in turn makes you want to clean even more.

The attention to detail overall is quite good. Things like footprints from stepping on stains to spilling a bucket filled with dirty blood water, this game shines well here.

ALSO, shout out to the developers for making one of the best in game hacking mechanisms of all time. Very unique mini game that gives a slight challenge and allows skill to come in to play. Funny considering this game has nothing to do with safe-cracking.

As far as achievement hunting, this game is a very enjoyable 100% with no missables and slight collectibles.

Overall: 8/10 - Very worth the purchase and can't wait for the sequel.

Aw man where do I start.

First of all, let me give props where it’s due. The art and design of this game is fantastic. That comic book look makes graphics look timeless. Also some interesting (although limited) battle damage designs for Kick-Ass really emphasize the grittiness of this universe.

Now for the bad, I don’t know what the hell was going on in that voiceover room but the voice acting is abysmal. They literally would have been better off using that sound that is used for when NPCs are talking in 8-Bit RPG games as opposed to the voice acting present here.

The gameplay is atrociously clunky and soul sucking. You literally only have a handful of combos and they only use two buttons to perform. Once you figure out that you can stun lock enemies by hitting them with your basic attack in a timed rhythm, the entire challenge of the game goes out the window.

Also, you quite literally don’t have to kick asses if you don’t want to as you can just sprint to the end of the level to get to the main boss fights.

The game is an easy 100% for achievement hunters but beware of the collectibles glitching and not counting in your save file which causes you to run through multiple times to recollect.

They had a lot of promising ideas here but the execution did not hit.

Overall, I would not recommend this game if you are looking for a good game to get into, however I would pick it up as a keepsake but only if it is for less than 2 bucks lol.
