A proper homage to the Wolfenstein series, more of Wolfenstein 3D and Return to Castle Wolfenstein, rather than the new cinematic series. Nice arsenal selection, and the variety of environments keeps it fresh.

Plenty of secrets, and easter eggs around. It truly has a good old school vibe about it, and surprisingly great voice acting for a free game. Last but not least, the music is a banger, so buy the soundtrack and support the dev!

I don't really remember anything particular from my life before the age of 5-6. Not even moments. So it was a surprise for me, how deep impression the game left me with after few hours.

You play as a 2 year old child, who just had his birthday with mom and a nice cake. You also got a crippy looking Teddy bear. Honestly those eyes... (but he is your friend, so it will be OK ;)

The story starts at night... and there is no light. I don't really want to tell anything about the story.

I don't think we had ever played as a 2 year old. And you have to think like that. You have to crawl and climb on things, the entire perspective is different from being an adult. Honestly the whole game is spooky, and chilling without going into real horror territory. Most of the things indeed can be freightening for a 2 year old. The darkness, the little lights and sounds. The sound design is amazing in this game. The puzzles are mainly simple, but the story is not. After playing a game I thought about how glad I am that I had a normal childhood, with great parents.

Mom, I miss you so much...

Type:Rider is a really unique game, in that while you play you learn about the history of typography. I myself very interested in this topic as I learnt to type on my mother's typewriter and I also like webdesign. Beside the beautiful graphics, the music also fits the game. Each level we learn something about font families, technologies and the atmosphere of the levels reflect that. At first the game looks like the usual, very trendy monochrome or too blackish platformer, but the individual levels are much more colorful and really different from each other

The gameplay itself is a simple plaftformer, we control two unseparable balls and we can also jump with them. The game is better with a gamepad (as usually for platform games).

Typre:Rider is a short game, and well worth the money, if you are interested in typography. The game is simple and beautiful and can be completed in one sitting.

One of the worst Linux port, with awefully long loading times and sometimes stuttering gameplay. The game is still fun, if you like the arena-shooter genre. I am still recommending the original Painkiller: Black Edition (which H&D is based on), which has more content and the graphics is still holding up very well (and if you are a Linux user, you can perfectly run it with Wine/Play on Linux).

I am not in a good friendship with point&click adventures, because sometimes the puzzles are so ridicolous that I'd never find a solution without help. However The Book of Unwritten Tales is fun. It has charming and funny characters, I laughed many times in my first hour of the game (haven't completed it yet). The puzzles are solvable and totally not complicated, unlike in most point&click adventures.

The artwork and the voices are are amazing, great fantasy world. Also little things like, 'hidings bugs' on the loading screen. :) Definitely recommend it for anybody who likes this genre, you'll have a good time.

Thanks for the developers supporting Linux, your game works well!

Nice graphics (with Unity+d engine), good puzles and levels. Might be a little bit too easy sometimes (than try the DLC!) Recommend it to any platform maniacs out there. I wish there would be a level editor. Oh and thanks for the Linux support!

I wanted a game that I can play just for few minutes, to turn my brain off a little. Instead on the first run, I played almost an hour, it is that addictive. Who knew a musical shoot'em up can be this much fun? Crazy fun. I just hope that one day I can beat Jeff Wayne's "The Eve of the War" in Survival mode. :)
