A stunning update of the original Half-Life in (semi) modern style. The passion and effort that has gone into this game is phenomenal, and in many ways exceeds the original.

My main criticism is Xen - the entire set of chapters has been redesigned and reimagined, and though vastly improved from a gameplay and graphics standpoint, stylistically it feels uninspired, and all to Earth-like.

Despite this, they are still a wonder to play and the final level a boss fight of epic proportions.

This game is absolutely terrible.
The art is rudimentary, the story banal, and the gameplay tedious and awkward.

It features approximately four minutes of gameplay, stretched out by artificial difficulty induced by the poor drawings and lack of any distinguishing features to identify the objects against the background.

It is not entertaining. It is not educational. It is not anything.
