CS:GO Review
Valve pushes an update to this game that breaks the sv_pure functionality, and kicks people from competitive servers after they install the update. Fixing this issue (caused by Valve) takes a significant amount of time - normally more than the amount of time between disconnecting and being handed a cooldown. On the day of this update, a huge number of competitive games played had people never reconnecting - 3v3s or 3v2s and a lot people being given cooldowns through no fault of their own. Instead of undoing these cooldowns, or not issuing cooldowns from disconnects caused by this sv_pure issue, valve blames the players for not reading the patch notes on the dev blog, and not fixing the issue (that was poorly advertised) before trying to play competitive.

From this information I can conclude that the game is amazing and has an extremely competent team of developers who have lots of experience in pushing releases to large userbases and know how to handle problems in the development cycle.
