Also Balancers relics in my opinion are better than even Raider's default Character effects, only executor i was struggling if i wanted to keep roar or cursed sword dmg increase.
None of that solves the issue of horrid gambling for Deep Relics still, though, or wanting to have any decent Normal Relic builds with custom randomly-rolled ones.
Personally i do like D3 because i dont have to tryhard and i'm able to play with anything besides revenant my relics for her were always bad and not even save scumming gave anything worthwhile for revenant despite the fact i prefer recluse as in caster DPS. So i simple dont use her anymore.
In another hand i found using duchess as casters make it pretty worthwile even risk and using the balancers relics which regen FP seems to be a very sweet spot, because i'm eithre free to also use gnoster or just use some other stuff, which i tend to use a stamina recovery with CC and one useless effect which i forgot what it's rn.
Which is essentially what you wrote, if we try to achieve a perfect theorycraft for the characters we enjoy we kind get mad, in this note i do like guardian, very easy to have a solid build with the birb and without grinding at that
Another one would be Partial 1-2 and Gauge per Kill 0-1, leaving two free slots for anything. Just what I have always liked more because I get stupid healing and my old Ult spam back.
Currently I'm unable to test either... I still don't have good luck in getting the right Relics, or I do but they aren't the right colors and so they don't fit my build.
It's a nightmare on theorycrafting and perfection.
As for EAC, it just sucks. A glorified and patented virus not even doing its job.
People today also being selfish and entitled all the way up to like D3 leaving or griefing over having a fit -- punishments are too lax. Meanwhile you hardly get this at Depth 4, and almost never at 5, because nobody wants -800.
This adds room to a lot of hidden issues in the future "Create a problem" & "adds solution as paid DLC".
Obviously users will also cheat and edit relics (at least currently).
Personally i believe edited relics wont be so frowned upon if people didnt focused burst HK in all of those foolery.
From the legits relics i got my favorite effects are Stamina recovery and HP recovery makes the melee way more enjoyable. Never once i saw a cheated relic with this minor QoL thing for example. Outside of impossible edit relics which i completely frown upon such as turn negatives into positives/marais stuff.
The solution for any of these issues is the EAC doing it's work and fromsoft revamp their system, both are easy to solve it just lacks the desire to solve by the devs and users suffer from it.
Having 1.7k hours in, it feels lame to not be any much closer to an ideal build of my own.
It's not so much that the progression is slow or that it's difficult or anything -- it's that it is reliant on sheer luck, meaning that I might not even progress at all, and that is completely out of my own control.
It isn't even hard to implement, it's easier than the regional lock.
Yet alas i think ERN will be forsaken and the "hidden weapon slots wont even be SOTE weapons" gives a bitter taste i was enjoying to play it more than ER itself, due to the lack of min maxing and walking simulator and more fast time combat.
It is practically the norm, and that is dismaying, because we ought to be better, despite it being tempting (and honestly, real life being a struggle).
Also i do find quite funny how we're dealing with daily mental debates in "i'm bypass the game design with exploits" how much i can exploit without it becoming cheating?
I suppose others gen Z and maybe the new gen Alpha see cheating as fine. As i remember when i was in school/university it was already pretty popular to use AI/Forums to bypass exams questions.
So the guy who is a stickler for boring grammar and is called a bot a lot ends up being cited as not Ai-influenced by the tool.
I would have expected that my strictness and rather uniform way of typing would have at least tripped something as a false-positive or returned results with a high percentage of AI influence probability.
Guess not. Wonder how it really decides such things, though, because I was at least half-sure it was going to be like "Yo beep-boop this guy's a clanker."
Out of curiosity replies also related to the that individual.
None of these had traces of AI using the same tool i had linked in that discussion. I noticed the user who was flaming others his replies were often getting flagged as AI.
So i think this will be a good behavior to stick to, in upcoming weeks/months to double check any bait kind of post instead of seriously debating with AI.
That will not do. If I'm going to bite a bullet, he's going to have to nibble on some of its parts too.
I'll see what I can do. Surely they won't admit that they are encouraging harassers on their own platform and having them as favorites to boot. Especially not if I have receipts of the entire situation just in case.
Just a rough start, no big deal.
The Dreglord's Relic would've been great if only one thing were changed: losing only a single stack per failed Status Ailment Buildup Bar check.
Currently, you lose everything.
So, imagine you go through the three-minute effort of getting to that +45% total Damage increase.
Then you fail a single check, for any reason at all... and you lose everything.
Not even when combined with the +15% from taking a hit that is just a bonus from Libra's Sovereign Relic makes it worthwhile.
It honestly sucks, unless they change how the stack checks and losses work.
And yes, I know. I kept trying, since I'm a Wylder main, and I've always liked Parrying, but genuinely, sometimes, it just feels like the latency makes it like you're trying to roll-catch a Light Load roll spammer in Elden Ring PvP -- in other words, that isn't happening, no matter what you do (unless you're the Recluse with the Auto-Parry Magic Cocktail).
At least we beat it, but I looked stupid.
It might've not been you, but rather just a coincidence.
thank you and Godbless❤️
No worries. Glad it helped.
Thanks, you too.
