This game is what would happen if the Doom marine was trained in as new personnel by Dr. Bright. It is fast, furious, batsh*t crazy, and absolutely a blast. 10/10 Would levitate while firing explosive bullets at floating bodies again

Somehow they managed to upgrade the graphics, make the Homeworld GUI and queue system the same as Homeworld 2's, upgrade a ton of things, and still leave basic scripting bugs allowing you to accidentally crash missions and make them uncompletable. Just like the original but prettier!

It's a classic for a reason; both games are incredibly solid and the only thing that realistically mars this release is the fact that Cataclysm isn't included. (I know the Story Of How Cataclysm Was Lost Forever, but then GOG un-lost it, so Gearbox should be trying to acquire / similarly upgrade / include it.)

So far, I suck at this game.

But I'm having fun with it. Allllllll the guns.

My wife looked over my shoulder while I was playing and said "OMG, there are so many of them," and yes there are.

See new and exotic lands.

Meet interesting people.

See a huge variety of planes.

And kill them.

My first zeefarer was killed by a jellyfish after an attempt to ferry a mummy to the tomb-colony went horribly wrong; the mummy got drunk, challenged me to a duel, and fell overboard. In my circling to try to find another commission, I drew the attention and ire of a living iceberg, which chased me into the clutches of the jellyfish.

I could swear I heard laughter.

My second intrepid captain died of starvation after we ran out of food trying to find the Khan's Heart to fulfill another commission; we ate the sails, we made sacrifice to dark gods of the sea, we ate the crew... and finally there was nothing left to eat.

This time the laughter was louder.

My third captain was overtaken by pirates after the engines exploded and left us with too few crew to escape.

The laughter took on a hysterical tinge.

My fourth brave adventurer, Jebediah Ozel, is still going strong. He's survived to meet the soulless apes of the Empire of Hands, had tea with a deviless, chased down a giant angler crab with a tiny steamer and destroyed it, and shivers in terror at the squeak of a bat.

They know him, you see.

They keep calling his name.

Maybe his son won't be so afraid.

Atmospheric, but suffers a bit from slightly sludgy controls, which are not a plus when you're doing a large amount of platforming. I thought it was worth the sluggish controls. It's zombies, like everything else these days, but the game lets you deal with them in realistic and fairly creative ways, hampered only by your main character's obvious near-terminal heart condition resulting in three swings of a weapon in melee causing life-threatening exhaustion.

Fun, but has issues. The main pro for me was the environment and atmosphere, which are brilliantly done.

Dawn of War set the bar pretty high for RTS games, but DoWII took it to a new level. Rather than giving the player endlessly huge armies, it concentrates on building the characters, while still using a classic RTS-style interface.

Telling the story of a desperate defense of the Aurelia sector by Space Marines who are besieged on all sides, feared by the citizens they're fighting to protect, cataclysmically outnumbered, and racing the clock, this game leads into two expansions, both of which are a blast. If you enjoy Warhammer 40K at all, you owe it to yourself to play this game.

This game was published just before White Wolf ended the classic World of Darkness line of games and rebooted everything. It shows its age graphically, but despite many bugs it's still deep, crazy, and lots and lots of fun.

Trust me when I say: Play Malkavian.

Worth the money, for sure.

This game is what Diablo's been trying to do since the first one, except done right.
