I pirated this game through uTorrent in 2012, and this game is one of my favourites forever.

The atmosphere is still amazing. The dark, classic creepy locations from the original mod (West London or Biotics Lab) STILL TO THIS DAY feel desperate and scary. The sound design is fantastic, music is on a whole different level (especially Dirge - Defective 1). The only issue is the old (Unreal) engine, there's a lot of bugs on newer systems. Despite the engine issues, Killing Floor is still a fantastic co-op shooter. The gunplay is amazing, the gameplay is hard even with a full party. The artstyle is (imo) kind of unfinished since a lot of original Killing Floor Mod things are leftover (Dead scientist bodies on Biotics Lab for example), otherwise it's still one of the best in the genre.
