Early Access Review
Got a key from the publisher and was told this was the full game before the last minute delay and change to Early Access.

I really have to hope that the devs take the time to not just add content but fix what's here as this is a mess all around. The setting is novel but the game's opening levels don't help make this any different from any futuristic setting where everything is in ruins. The guns seem ok but they sound terrible and the shooting doesn't feel so good. The story starts of as generic and it gets interesting towards the end with the supernatural elements but the characters are terribly written and unlikable while the story feels too much like a bad soap opera with the ridiculous turns there. The voice acting as awful, especially with your main character being too soft spoken and everyone else sporting bad to passable Latin accents. This is all on top of what others have mentioned in their reviews already.

A big no for this one but considering the team's pedigree, there's still a reason to keep tabs on this if only for the hope that they can pull off a miracle and turn things around.

On one hand, it's free.

On the other hand, every enemy here is a bullet sponge and even if you upgrade everything to ludicrous levels, you'll find yourself getting hand cramps real fast from the endless shooting. Bad interface combined with a ridiculous soundtrack means you may want to try this out just to see if your rig can handle 250 zombies at a time but it's a pass otherwise.

This is exactly what you expect from a TMNT beat em up but tweaked in a way to make it more modern thanks to things like reviving fallen allies and health sharing. 6 player co-op can get chaotic but it all comes in at just the right length and enough reasons to replay it after beating it. Absolutely fun title from a team that seem to know how to do the genre right.

Chaotic. Sometimes you feel like luck is on your side and you're making it through levels by the skin of your teeth. Other times you'll be at the mercy of team members that play poorly or you can see yourself at a disadvantage immediately with no way to make a comeback. Yet almost every time you lose, you'll find yourself hitting the button to jump back in just one more time. Even though the hype isn't as large as before, it's still a fun title you can pick up and play after long stints away from it without feeling like you've lost a step.

Perhaps one of the best games to sell people on VR without being overly complicated in terms of understanding what to do and without the threat of motion sickness. The default tracklist is good as is the DLC but the game really shines when yous tart adding in custom songs to the mix. Be forewarned that most of those tracks are only set to Expert or Expert+ as their difficulty levels so if you play casually, you're pretty much hosed.

A multiplayer delight though you better hope that everyone, including youself, can work under high stress situations. Making loads of soup was never as stressful but you'll keep coming back just to see what oddball scenario you'll get next. Highly recommended.

This is very much a "love it or hate it" game. While it's always funny to watch someone playing the game thanks to the loose physics system and intentionally difficult control scheme, playing it is a different story. Until it all "clicks" for you and you begin to master the controls and what's needed, expect lots of unintentional mishaps that can turn you off from the game.

An excellent twin-stick shooter made better by the fact that your music powers everything. Works well with just about any song and with the addition of levels via internet radio, the stages are practically limitless. Highly recommended, especially with a controller.

An excellent platforming game that actually works better as a co-op experience than a solo one.

A great homage to classic side-scrolling platform shooters. Why this isn't on a console yet I'll never know.
