I have zero interest in zombies, I'd even say I genuinely dislike the whole genre, but Zomboid is a ton of fun! You can't go wrong with this one.

While performance has improved I still can't recommend it.
There definitely is fun to be had, missions at first seem refreshing and engaging, ability to see your ship from the first person view is great and everything feels more immersive. Unfortunately this feeling doesn't last for long and fun quickly starts to turn into frustration. You slowly start to discover amount of grind that is in front of you and dear god... Ship engineering is nothing compared to this bs. On foot combat is atrocious, there's just no other way on how to describe it, it doesn't feel good and it doesn't play good. Performance inside stations feels all over the place as well.
Ultimately it doesn't matter how immersive or "fun" Odyssey is, it was a mistake and it should never have been made.

Perfect game to relax to after hard or crappy day at work with awesome modding community. None of the DLC is required to enjoy it, but they definitely add more to the game.
Multiplayer mod can be a ton of fun too.

Now when workshop maps are finally here, I can recommend buying this to all original Spintires fans.

It's a shame I waited for so long to buy it. Totally worth it!
