As someone who played the original quite a bit (134 hours), I have really enjoyed this version. The negative comments, for the most part, are just miserable people who are never happy, or are parroting negative YouTube videos. I haven't noticed the bugs or audio issues that others are mentioning. I've played through the game, as well as completed the cloudy day levels (which are quite fun with the extra challenge). Also. being able to speed up the game is an amazing QOL feature.

I would recommend this if you like the original. The only thing I wish they'd do is allow the game to run in the background and not pause when the window isn't focused; or at least give the option to set this.

Edit:
I would like to note that even though I haven't experienced the bugs others have, it doesn't mean they don't exist; I've just been fortunate to not have them. Still recommend this game! :)

Love the contents of this pack; For me it was worth it. Most of the negative reviews are people having access issues, which I had none of. W GAME!

Review Highlight: Rough Controls; Motion Sickness

As a fan of the Fable series, I was quite disappointed with the PC port of Fable Anniversary. I do own it for the Xbox 360 and found it to be a relatively pleasant experience, if you can ignore the bulging evil demonic eyes on the hero and npcs.

The 2 biggest issues I found with the PC port is that the controls feel very 'clunky', which isn't exactly a deal breaker, but the second issue is that the game made me feel motion sick. The second issue is what made me refund the game. The way the camera moves is just nauseating. Note that this was the first time I have ever felt motion sick, so it's not a common problem for me.

The game itself is fantastic, the port is just not a good port. My time played is very low because within the first few minutes is when I started feeling motion sick, so refunded almost right away.

Early Access Review
At the moment, I would say that you might want to wait until the full release of the game. Even then, keep an eye on the reviews. The game just doesn't play very well, it's buggy, it's confusing to get started as there is no tutorial mode as far as I could see. This game has potential, and I know that it is Early Access at the moment, but it needs a lot of work done to it for it to be a decent game. For now, as I said, sadly I wouldn't recommend this game at the moment.

I completely recommend Final Fantasy VIII on Steam. Like a lot of people, the music is the only thing that annoys me as it is still the quality from the old PC port of the game, but hopefully they will decide to use the music from the PS1 version. Other than that, they made things quite a bit smoother, especially the characters.

Amnesia: The Dark Descent is a really decent game. It has a very dark and spooky atmosphere, so if that is your type of game then you will love this game!
