It's TF2 but old, it's different to regular TF2 due to the grenades, different weapons, mechanics etc. If you are ready to learn and enjoy a new TF experience, i would definetly recommend this game to you. But if you are happy with TF2's mechanics and weapon system and you think TFC is way unbalanced, just stick to TF2.

TLDR: casual is decent sometimes, sniper is the worst class and 2fort community servers are goated
