I was definitely cautious going into FFXIV since it's subscription based MMO and I didn't want to feel like I had to play to get my money's worth. The 14-day free trial was enough for me to decide I at least wanted to try and finish the story. After that, the 30 days I got for purchasing the game solidified it as something I'd like to keep playing for a while. I've even bought a bunch of mog station goodies cause I just really enjoy the game. Maybe at some point I will feel I have accomplished everything I wanted and actually stop playing, but for now I see a lot of hours with this game in store for me.
