blood harvest (1987) is an oddball of a film, a picturesque of a pre modern world, in which those who feel hopeless can turn to for vacancy. when first approaching this film, it feels long and treacherous, but after a second time around it feels but foreign. a distant and cold memory, almost lapsing too quickly compared to the horror you once knew. also, tiny tim is in it. 3 stars.
