Game's aesthetic is hella cool. Love it.
Game's world has tons of crossing paths, left, right, center. You backtrack, you think "Alright, this path is done." BAM, another three paths.
Game's gameplay is rough at the start, but has become simple as I stayed on the main path which the moths from my lamp were all too eager to show me.
The map items really don't do a whole lot to make things understandable as to where your bearings are. Literally been unable to find Pilgrim's Rest after getting a "map" (really just 4 drawings with arrows about).

Edit: As of now, I have not finished the game and quit it. It was too much for me to explore, and too convoluted to keep track of every NPC's quest I have met without any guide.

Game still has bad performance, random frame drops due to whatever even after this DLC released.
Maybe at some point down the line will modders improve the performance of this game, as they're wont to do, but that's a maybe.

The random night 1 event with the Balancers is absolutely awful. Outright reset worthy. Not only do you get to fight a weak Balancer, but you also get a boss that feels better placed in Night 2, i.e. Death Knight or Cuckoo Knights (yes, plural) on top of taking away your flasks which will put you at 1 flask if you haven't had the luck of running into churches beforehand. And lastly you and your teammates will be split up into three different regions.
Good god darn luck with this one.

The rest feels fair enough, but the fact the shifting earths is still not choosable is somewhat sad, as I'd have liked to play the DLC fully instead of being forced out of it.

The puzzles are often times clever and understandable.
But then there's the leprechaun hide-and-seek game, and that one is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
It's timed on maybe 15 seconds and you have to find him 5x. Not once found him.
Negative review based on that as I feel softlocked.
Will change it as soon as I have found the solution.

I just went and used the hints instead now. Frustrating, that.

Game's got some downsides like timegated crafting, and think my 14th gen intel CPU means I got to restart the game over and over until it finally works.

The upside is Ember Heirloom, Wisp, Saryn, dating a girl with a freaky tongue (since the 1999 update).

Game's awful.
Don't recommend.
♥♥♥♥ like Star-Lord and Iron Man are definitive garbage.

Edit:
Not awful. I've figured out the role and hero I wanna play. It's helped me immensely with having more fun. Now I just gotta learn to be proficient at what I play.

I don't have the brain to tell you all about what the lore means or represents. Or at least I don't think I'd do it justice. (:
Enjoyed playing it from the survival horror aspects, to the looks of it all, down to the old school Silent Hill / Resident Evil camera snapping your controls around. :D
And let's not forget the soundtrack that added to the eerie atmosphere.

All in all it was great. Definitely worth playing.

A short and sweet game worth its price.
Absolutely enjoyed it, and look forward to seeing more, as are my friends who I screenshared the game to. :D

In all honesty, this game is really not good.

Out of my 64h playtime, I've likely spent 55h doing quests for QoL, such as quick travel.
What has kept me playing was the gear progression while in season, and getting to mow down enemy groups with flashy skills. This has felt fun and so satisfying.

Hearing about how bad it gets out of season with how some attempts at higher gear levels have horrid success chances; having to spend even more time for QoL items (infinite HP potion, crystals); and losing exp or crystals on death, I've lost any interest to continue playing.

Combat's been fun and intricate, but a lot of its depth will never matter unless you're into PvP or on endgame content.
Another thing that is annoying about combat is how mechanics have indicators that are inaccurate, as the indicators don't move when the boss turns towards you for example.

All in all, I do not recommend people play this.

Game's awesome. Music's awesome. Story's alright (bit annoyed with a certain trope in games that was repeated 4 times here which I won't name due to spoiler reasons).

Only downside I see is that co-op is either dead, nobody does the quests I wanna queue up for or people are all running it solo.
(Bonus reason for co-op not connecting me: Either Germany doesn't play this or it's my restrictive ISP / firewall settings that don't let me through most of the time.)

All in all super enjoyable, but try and level multiple of your party members at the same time so you get to grind things solo, too.

I've enjoyed this game, but I feel like I've played it before.
That aside, the music was nice and atmospheric. The SCPs covered were intriguing and not just the same old peanut, plague doctor, dogs or the like.
Gameplay elements used for them were just as interesting.
Only issue I have had was the damn typing sound loop and speed for the last chapter.
