this is a good cross of city building, god-like features, and resource management, recommended even in EA

really solid for EA (and running on mac): reminds me of early prison architect or early craft the world - the core features are there but missing some content/options/growth - and this is updated weekly which is awesome

closest analogy is probably gnomoria but in 2d: gnomoria is more complex (3d) and has more content/options/buildings but it's more buggy and fiddly (building mines is a huge pain)

i'm looking forward to more buildings/tech, more keyboard shortcuts (use both arrows and wasd would be nice), and maybe some zooming/scaling UI support
