Max Payne 3 is not just a game; it’s an experience that transcends the typical boundaries of the action genre. From the moment you plunge into it’s gritty world, the game immerses you in a dark narrative filled with complex characters and a haunting atmosphere. The gameplay delivers satisfying gunplay with smooth mechanics and that classic bullet-time action that the series is known for.
The level design is smart, the pacing keeps you hooked, and the atmosphere is incredibly immersive. Even years later, the game’s presentation, storytelling, and action sequences feel polished and thrilling.

A Gripping Masterpiece (10/10)

The game plays like a true Robocop movie with all the quirks and features of a mid-budget 80's action classic. Everything works : the dialogues, it's story, it's dystopian future setting,it's gameplay, how you boost your skills, etc. So many references and easter eggs for anyone who is a fan of the first movies.

This is a truly remake, the original game is a masterpiece, and the remake brought to the new generation keep being a masterpiece.

The gunplay in the game is extremely solid, with a great sense of survival horror. Tight inventory management, scarce ammo drops, zombies being hard to kill, etc. This all adds up with a great atmosphere especially in the RPD, the true star of the game. What helps making this atmosphere even more frightening is the music and sound design, while music isn't always there, the sound of zombies and their footsteps echoing through the halls are excellent.

Really a breath of fresh air. The shooting and driving is a lot like GTA 4 but the remaining gameplay is amazingly intricate. The highlights of the game are the interrogation sequences. These sequences make tremendous use of motion capture and allow the player to think like a detective. The best interrogation sequences are the ones where you must choose who the culprit is. The graphics are stunning to say the least. Team Bondi did an amazing job recreating 1940s L.A. You can really get a sense of what this time period was like just by looking at the scenery. The game's soundtrack also transports you back to this time period.

This is gaming at its finest.

A great graphical improvement with more open and less oppressive spaces, larger-scale battles and more spectacular events. The combat feels much better than in its predecessors. There are more enemies on screen and a greater variety at the same time, making the gameplay more challenging and tactical. There are also numerous combat tools that can be used dynamically, adding a lot of depth to the combat system.

It features what is possibly the best video game companion ever created. Not only do you not have to worry about her safety, but she also provide valuable active support. She supplies you with ammo, powers and healing. And most importantly, she has natural and limited conversations, she's not the typical repetitive and insistent companion. Instead, she comments on relevant plot points when appropriate and remains silent when necessary. All of this makes you genuinely connect with the character.

The story is excellent, full of intrigue until the very end.

A cherry on top to one of the best gaming trilogies of all time.

BioShock 2 builds upon its predecessor's foundation, introducing improved gameplay mechanics that offer greater variety and enhance the player's experience. The consistency of the story expands upon the world of Rapture. It doesnt try anything new with the setting or story but rather irons out all the janky parts from the first game; plasmids and guns can be used at the same time, theres no more categories of tonics allowing for some crazy builds, the hacking is now in real time and much easier, the selecton of levels is much more consistent overall and the gunplay got some much needed weight added to it.

BioShock 2 remains a remarkable game that continues to showcase the hauntingly beautiful and thought-provoking world of Rapture.

It's still the classic we remember, but now it looks a little fresher. The improved textures and modern lighting enhance Rapture's oppressive and decadent atmosphere. The story of Rapture is the main course. That cocktail of ethical dilemmas, failed utopias, and broken characters still hits hard, and the narrative is so well-constructed that it captivates you from beginning to end. Arsenal at the player's disposal is nothing short of impressive. With many weapons and abilities,players can approach challenges in a multitude of ways, ensuring that combat never feels stale. A must-play for any gaming enthusiast.

An overall upgrade of its predecessor in basicly every aspect, besides the story. Visually, it's stunning, both graphically and artistically. Combat is exceptionally realistic, making every engagement feel impactful. Every detail, from the firearms to the character models, is meticulously good. No Return game mode is a solid addition.

The Last of Us Part I is a perfect remake of a perfect masterpiece. The game beautifully tells a story about a journey filled with hope. The story is compelling, but nothing revolutionary if you are familiar with the genre. What makes this game historic and unmissable is the care and love put into writing the characters. Joel and Ellie become part of the player, conveying all their fears, Joel’s suffering over his past, and Ellie's uncertainty about the future, as they grow and care for each other throughout the journey. It masterfully combines this powerful storytelling with excellent gameplay and stunning art design. This game is a masterpiece.
