Players are being silenced, their threads deleted or locked when they have negative things to say about the game and we're given the dumbest reasons as to why, like "This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion."

Who's confusion? We all can read that the thread is 2 years old which doesn't matter to be honest when the issues described by the OP are still not fixed in 2026 so they locked the threads when new players "revives" them sharing their similar experience with the game. Meanwhile, you have equally old threads that are positive or neutral about the game and "revived" again by new players without being locked.

Yeah it's not on the same league as Left 4 Dead or the original Killing Floor. But, that's not the reason why this game exist. It's not trying to replace the two legends.

This is about HORDE.

No. You do not need to play Horde Mode just to feel the intensity of the aggressively fast zombie waves. Campaigns can satisfy that. Especially on Extreme. If your insane enough or up to a really good challenge or just having an itch to kill zekes and Extreme can't satiate that, then hop in Extinction.

If you're looking for a Left 4 Dead kind of experience... Brother. Sister. Left 4 Dead is alive and well. This ain't it.

If you want waves of undead, strongly recommend the very first Killing Floor. If you dig KF2 and KF3 then that's fine. But the first one is and will always be the best.

If you want HORDE. The whole HORDE. And nothing but HORDE. You're in the right game. If this ain't enough. ♥♥♥♥ ME. GRAB DAYS GONE. GET INSIDE A CAVE. DANCE WITH THE HORDE THERE.
