4. The main reason there's been such an explosion of suicides in the western world in the last 200 years has to do with the exagerrated emphasis on the economy. People are forced to become cogs in the machine and live to be productive for their boss, period. Its a fact thats been pointed out before by the first official sociologist, Emile Durkheim, who directly links the heavy emphasis on economy in a society and how many commits suicides. So yeah, everybody that says that capitalism ithe best system ever because it fits perfectly human nature are out of their minds. It doesnt, at all. It makes people wanting to kill themselves, litteraly lol.

- This isn't true at all, the ''Prisoner's dilemma'' (wiki it) is a good example of that, society must be lead in a global rational point of view first.

- Many people may already disagree with this statement, but I'd like to simply say this: Externalities defeats the free market idea on its own. I dont really feel like elaborating on this too much right now, so I guess I'll move on tongue.gif .

As many of you may already know, Im against capitalism (oh ♥♥♥♥ Im a commie! No Im not FYI), but I have yet to clearly talk about what bums me out about our current system. So thats what Im going to do in this topic (try not to derail this into a flame fest for once, like so many political threads here). Im going to take some shots at free marketism too. Here's 2 specific suppositions on which capitalism relies to justify itself, also 2 problems that comes with capitalism, that I will criticize.
