CA has a repeated history of behavior where they will neglect their base engine, to the point you could unironically use their tech debt in college as an example of "What not to do", core issues with AI and LL's for *years* are reported on forums/reddit/discord over and over, and they do nothing with them, they didn't even want to patch the Lizardmen/Ogres and more facs AIs not doing ANYTHING until 7.0, which we have no idea releases, making 1/3rd of a $60.00 game really painful to play when the AI presents zero challenge, they will be called out for issue after issue, apologize- say they will do better, maybe even release some community posts and "leaks" of content, and then once the community is placated they go back to neglecting core aspects of, again, a $60.00 game, while saying at the same time they'll fix it *sometime*, and as far as their history goes, its not so hopeful
