Assassin's Creed 2 really defined my childhood, coming back from school, to this... I've played countless hours in my PS3 with a friend of mine, called João, while eating crisps and drinking cola. I was only 10 years old... Nowadays (in 2025) i still find myself coming back to AC2, just to roam around Florence and Venice.
This was the thing that made me interested in renaissance history, and history in general.
Ezio and his story were the reason i visited Florence and Rome back in 2022.
I've never felt so good in my entire life, being in the Duomo in person with "Dreams of Venice" and "Santuary" playing in my airpods, while thinking "I've been here before" - A true real-life bleading effect.
