I have over 150 hours in this game that I paid $10 for. I still have 9 more characters to hit level 170 with. How could I not shell out another $5?

Addicting. I got this from a Humble Bundle a while back but never played it. I saw it was leaving early access and figured I'd give it a go when 1.0 launched. I admit, I expected to grow bored, especially since I chose to play on an official PvE server.

This was not the case.

The PvE server I'm on has an awesome community full of people who work together. Need help with a boss? Someone will come. Need advice or info on where to get certain items? Someone will help. It's one of the least toxic games I've ever played (at least on my server).

I cannot speak to PvP servers... yet.

The bosses can be a legitimate challenge. Diablo IV could learn a thing or two from this game in that regard.

The power creep feels really good. It's a huge reward to unlock that next tier of gear.

World events are a pleasure and the rewards make them something you WANT to do. Want top tier weapons? Gotta do invasions. Want to unlock passives to give you that extra power? Gotta do invasions.

Speaking of passives... you don't have to choose between a select few for your build. Every passive can be used at once so long as you spend the time to unlock them, which you will want to do.

I've got two more bosses left & almost 80 hours of playtime logged. Once I kill Dracula, I know for a fact I'm going to play on a PvP server.

BUY THIS.

It's buggy. Connection issues, rubberbanding & tick rate ruin the immersion. Guns need balancing. All of the expected launch issues for a game in 2021 are here. Each one a valid reason to refund or not to buy the game until a year after it's launched.

Yet, despite the above, I haven't enjoyed a Battlefield game this much since Battlefield 2. There is a fantastic game buried beneath the glaring issues.

Pay2Mod = avoid at all costs. The game is 10/10, but with paid mods it doesn't even score a 1. ♥♥♥♥ off Bethesda, you've gone too far.
