This game looks incredible and I found all the designs to be so cute. The game does need some optimization and refined animations but I think for early access this is amazing.

The game play loop for this game is perfect. I did a full play through with the game pass edition and fully replayed once more on Steam. You will never have a dull moment, and as the game updates more and more content will be added. I find the pacing of the mainline battles and leveling up to be a bit with normal settings, however its not awful. Lastly there are a good few bugs here and there, however this is to be expected with early access.

Palworld itself really doesn't have much of a story unless the player goes out of their way to look into the background of the island and why they are there. If you do decide to, the story is somewhat interesting but not complete. The game is early access, and has something interesting building, mainly with the different factions and their leaders. Speaking of the leaders, they are the main characters you interact with for the most part besides some NPC's for shops or island lore. The NPC's are pretty bland but the mainline characters you battle are very unique and cool. The game is very immersive with an ending point you set. Want all the pals then quit? Go for it. Want to max out every pal? Go for it. There is tons of end points and I enjoy that about the game, as I can always set a goal.

The game sounds really good, and world feels very lively, however I find that some ambient sounds need to be tuned more and some added in. This goes for the music as well, as I feel like there could be more or better loops provided. Voice acting is non existent for this title, which doesn't really hurt it, but I would enjoy it for boss encounters.

The game offers a ton of value in its play ability. There is tons to do in the game with the only downside being there isn't more trophies.

Palworld is the best example of an early access game. It showed what it wanted to be at a cheap price, and solid foundation that really said "I will be something." This game is wonderful and I really hope the devs will decide to continue developing this game for the coming years.
