Another plane hit a government building called the Pentagon, and the last plane crashed into a field after brave passengers tried to stop the bad people.

Many innocent people lost their lives that day, and it made people around the world very sad. It is also remembered for the courage of the firefighters, police officers, and ordinary people who risked their own lives to help others.
