Been playing off and on for a while and so I will give my 2-cents.

This, so far is not a Arma like Arma 3, it is watered down, simplified, and less technical to make it playable for console players. But still enjoyable.

Its a great game, truly.

No gimmicks, no hard emphasis on micro transactions (they are there but purely optional if you want to speed things along).

You drop in, large map to shoot up all you want, progressive difficulties with greater rewards and challenges, but you can settle for lesser and still have fun, I've noticed a lot of high level people playing on lower difficulties.

No real grind necessary to do well, can do well just on skill alone so you don't feel like a huge handicap as a new player on anything less than the higher most highest difficulty.

Honestly its a great game if you can get it, I bought it with money made by selling some CS:GO (yes CS:GO not CS2) loot boxes or whatever. Its good so far, will for sure drop in a few hours on the weekends outside of workout.

For Democracy!

The mod is very odd, but also enjoyable.

I will say the mod is very out there, and very all over the place.

That said its best to approach this like you are going on a comic-book adventure and not playing Entropy: Zero.

The gunplay is fun and the encounters are enjoyable overall, while yes like a lot of people say it does get a bit repetitive at times but I still found it enjoyable. Each era having unique weapons to enjoy and a unique aesthetics and design, with a interesting uniforms for each era of the Metro cop.

I do think the models could have been more unique for the Eras and the climax a little better.

But yeah, it was a overall fun experience.

The mod is overall good, and Im saying that because while this is janky and unfinished this can be a work of art and even a good Black Mesa like game unto its own right.

Yes its a bit janky and buggy, only crashed once though so that was nice. Just a few things I will say about it though from my experience;

1. Too many weapons.

• While I like how it tries to add some variety, I think both having fists, axe, and a crowbar later on is too much and redundant for game play.
  
  
• The G36C seems unnecessary, its another ammo type than the M16A2, and doesn't fill a needed gap anywhere.
  
  
• The same can be said for the Beretta. Its a nice gun, its nice seeing it, but it doesn't fill a roll that the glock doesn't already.

The other thing, and I've seen the dev shoot this down already; but I think this should be put on the Black Mesa engine, I think it would benefit all around from it.

But as is; it is janky but I enjoyed it.

This mod could be something great if the Dev decided to finish it. Hoping they do.

Really a sad lost gem of the franchise.

There isn't many games where it lets you take control of your favorite sci-fi faction and systematically visit every planet in the lore and conquer it planet by planet by controlling the many iconic vehicles, troops, ships from fighters to large capital ships commanded by heros and villains from the story than this game.

Its really sad Disney has not looked at this and tried to capitalize on a sequel for a lot of us RTS fans in the series. But until then, you got this gem and a absolutely fantastic and talented modding community!

An amazing game.

Pure satisfaction just building an army, investing in businesses, and growing your wealth and might.

Building up a massive army, crushing your foes man by man, city by city, village by village.

As long as you don't get distracted by the various mods made by the wonderful community. You conquer Calradia in no time!

Rising Storm 2: Vietnam is a great game overall.

It has a very balanced feel between tactical team work and run and gun. Although this will vary server to server but it still stands.

You get some very real gun physics and taking out a enemy has a very satisfying feel, especially when its multiple of them.

Its fun to play as any class even as the commander, calling in artillery, air support, and recon or rushing in reinforcements.

It is a very fun game to play with friends and to just work together to just wreck the enemy team! Get it, you won't regret it! Unless you are a soft panzy, then you will cry.

Its Garry's Mod.

That is basically it. Its many peoples original reason to even have gotten Steam in the first place 10+ years ago.

If people didn't get into Half-life then Gmod, it was Gmod then Half-life. (probably one of the reasons it has such a strong following still overall)

While its no Minecraft in terms of sandbox abilities, it does have a lot of its own perks. From various gamemodes centered around Roleplay, construction, machinations, and just taking full advantage of the source engines physics!

Words can't do it justice, but you can go online and check some stuff out and let me say, for $10 you can't get a better experience.

What can I say really? This game is a colony sandbox that is only limited by your hardware, which thankfully due to the simplicity of this game you can run this just fine on something like like my 8 year old potato when I first got the game.

The community is amazing and diverse in its creativity thanks again to the simplicity of the game. You'll become a mod junky with this game pretty quick, if you just want a few gameplay tweaks, next thing you know you'll be building an army of DeathKorp of Krieg, to go fight xenomorphs while you got a Flood hive somewhere. I haven't actually done that combo, but the mods exist to do so if you want to.

The game is awesome, and there isn't enough good things I can say about it. Highly recommend if strategy, roleplay, management, or colony simulators are your thing. 10/10.

A must have for world war 2 game enthusiasts. Even running on 9 years old as of 3 days ago, this game is still timeless and really puts to shame much of the modern WW2 games that people for the likes of CoD and EA have done. Its gritty, its team centered. I have to say probably one of the most historically accurate looking WW2 FPS game, short of some ARMA mods.Even though the game is old, it still has a lively community, don't listen to what some of the other reviews below say. Its really only dead during the day because most of the players are college age or older so well most of the players are either at school or at their day jobs.100% proud of Trip-Wire. Wish these were the guys Disney gave the Star Wars licencing to.
