What a wonderful game bringing back nostalgic elements of Rome with more focus on tactics and timing to defeat the enemy. I highly recommend this and look forward to seeing how the game develops!

The first game was incredible. This is everything you should do in a sequel and more! I cannot recommend this enough!

There are few games I would recommend but this is one of them. The fact you can complete quests in so many ways from poisoning's assassinations to getting folk drunk and stealing all their clothes Is amazing.

Combat can be difficult! When you get to Ratty a little way past the tutorial I strongly recommend training with Captain Bernard until you can beat him! ( It might take a fair few try)

With the second game coming out Q1 of next year I cannot wait. And you should definitely give this a try!

This was a fairly decent game, with some interesting mechanics, unfortunately this is now owned by Jagex a game development company that hand over fist tries to milk it's player base to the bone and passes awful updates, they have killed several games they have bought, see Ace of spaces, transformers online, RuneScape turning them all into a shell of their former self and then having the game die, I would not trust this game publisher and thus cannot recommend this game unless you enjoy suffering and misery and not in-game but watching a game you like become destroyed, then this is probably for you, but I'd suggest seeking a therapist instead, will probably be cheaper then when the microtransactions start to roll through.

Only game where you can do anything and make any style of game play. Probably my forever game and if you love survival / colony Sims this might just do it for you.

Base game is perfectly fine for thousands of hours with mods but the expansions open up the game more.

If your done with all the expansions vanilla expanded is what I would recommend next. Bringing amazing updates while still feeling very much like the base game.

2 Years after this review. I would still recommend this game. Quite possibly the best game on steam for colony sims. I cannot recommend this enough. If I could only play one game for the rest of time. It would be without a shadow of doubt rimworld.

Very fun Rogue like game, unfortunately the difficulty curve is quite high and some might find this very challenging, the more experienced players options is the "Get Gud" approach which is horribly toxic and not an effective way to improve a game or outline problems.

Your going to die, ALOT so abuse what mechanics you can to win, because the game won't hold your hand.
unfortunately in the current state of the game and without technically "easier modes" some might struggle and find this less enjoyable, hopefully the devs recognise this and implement support.

HOPEFULLY the community does not fall down the road of souls like "get guds" but it seems to already be there, if a game requires 100 hours to get gud, its a ♥♥♥♥ game let this review be your own choice but I feel having to sink 100 hours into a game to understand it is awful awful game design.

This game is honestly amazing, the way you can play and choose different ways to survive, this is DayZ but more indepth.

Honestly I wish my friends would play this because I assume this game is far better with others

The real version of Albion online, the mix between RuneScape and then some eve elements are massive, if you like grinding skills you will enjoy this game.

Though this is not for people who like instant gratification.

Edit: Review after 250 hours, AGS seem to be utterly incompitent at every turn, is this game good? Yes it is or atleast the core of the game is, Unfortunatly a room full of monkeys with type writers would be better then AGS, and are more likly to have a comprehensive Patch notes.

Every update they seem to break something or extend the current grinding to the point that unless you are already level 60 I would suggest you don't play this.

Are you a Solo player? this game is not for you.
Are you a group of atleast 5 people? sure i would suggest this game, but its still a buggy mess, Honestly the sale will bring people into the game but I would whole heartedly steer clear from this until its less of a mess.

Do you like DnD? Are you a Furry? are you into very sexual transformation's? then this is for you!

The game is way better then Corruption of champions one, the story arc's are far more in depth, the character customisation and ability to brew your own potions is amazing.

I have yet to see a goblin shout "come on slut time to get ♥♥♥♥♥♥" although there are plenty of other fun things to read.
