This game is what I've been saying needs to happen with the survival genre for a long time. If you don't like survival because it is too grindy, or because the pvp & loss aspect is too hardcore, then you should give this game a shot. It marries a very well polished survival game with MMO type mechanics.

There is permanent progression, it feels like your player matters. There are many reasons to leave base and it doesn't feel terrifying to cross the map. Yes, there is an element of danger, but you don't feel as though you risk absolutely ages of progress just because of bad luck.

Feels like a really well done evolution of the Survival genre. Funcom has done something really good here. And that's not even to mention the awesome graphics and immersion, which are on point.

This game is actually sweet. Really well made, hilarious concept yet a legit game with a great story and graphics.

Pretty fun gameplay. Not exactly what I expected but definitely interesting and worth the buy.

Wow, this game is not even fun at all. The controls are unbelievably bad, the game is slow as hell, the early plot is full of holes and doesn't even make any sense.

Really good game but VR as a platform is garbage. This game is the only reason I bother to put up with all the crap and tbh I couldn't recommend it unless you got a fair amount of time to &*^$ around with hardware and settings.

Finnicky and glitchy piece of crap software. Constant crashing, lagging, just an absolute pain in the butt to use my PC to play VR.

Very fun city builder in similar vein as Frostpunk and They Are Billions. Very much enjoying so far. I put a lot of time into it and it was more than worth the price.

Some things they could really fix about it though.

Need to be able to go much quicker. Even max speed feels very slow the later game you get. At night there's just nothing to do.

Needs recommended seeds or a built in seeds database. There's no good resource for finding seeds online. A bad seed can ruin a play through, and makes starting a new game tedious because I have to restart many times to find a reasonable seed sometimes.

Update: Review changed to negative because of the PSN account requirement debacle. They may have changed it back, but the way the community managers handled this (directly affiliated with Arrowhead, not Sony higher-ups) has permanently created a negative association with this game for me. I can't see myself playing it again and therefore they won't likely have an opportunity to earn the positive review back.

Insane visuals, absolutely chaotic and insane gameplay. Very challenging. Lots of fun.

It's fun. UI has some extremely obnoxious issues, but once you get past that it's a pretty fun game.

The UI is one of the worst I've seen and there are tons of bugs. It does a really poor job of introducing you to the game, hitting you with 72 billion walls of text before you get to do anything, over-explaining the obvious and not mentioning some of the stuff that's actually unique. All in all this feels like a totally unfinished game that was rushed out. There are so many things that I'm sure they were like "we'll fix that later" and never did.
