This game is a fantastic throwback. Inspired by Dangerous Dave and the Haunted Mansion, it will undoubtedly tickle the fancy of anyone who grew up with the Apogee EGA era with classics like Commander Keen, Cosmo's Cosmic Adventure, Bio Menace, or the OG Duke Nukum.

Art and animations are great. Gameplay and controls feel solid. Music absolutely whips. You wouldn't have played something exactly like this in 1993 on your 486DX, but this feels like a perfect evolution of something that you would have played back then.

My only complaint: a little shy on checkpoints and it could use some more clear signposting in terms of where you can return to base to bring your treasures back..

For the price I can't recommend it enough, just be ready for a challenge that can feel a little unforgiving at times.
