Absolute mainstay. This is barely a game, it's pretty much the only way I've played guitar for the last few years. No having to remember a thousand songs, no awkwardly decoding solos and chords from tabs.

I would say though... As it's more general use software than game, please don't update it unless there's a great reason to do so. Stability and mods working are much more important than ads for the new version of Rocksmith.

multiplayer is awful. reinstalled for the first time in a while to see what the game would look like on an upgraded setup, first race back and I got stuck getting rammed by some little ♥♥♥♥

really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hard to enjoy this game without consequences for people like that

After playing this game, I don't think multi-platform shooters can be a thing. I think Halo is the perfect *console* shooter. The guns are very inaccurate at range, most gunfights are decided by how many people from each team are in the room, and it's telling that you get a badge when you kill someone who shot at you first. There's no real opportunity for skill, everyone's running at mach 5 so you can't pop at heads. The maps are empty and devoid of detail, so that mach 5 feels like 5 miles an hour when you're in first person. Footsoldiers have no chance against the vehicles unless they've got the hook thing, at which point it's one button push to take over the vehicle.

I don't know what 343 were thinking releasing a free-to-play game that can only be played on high-end GPUs. At least I'm not getting crashes, I guess. The graphics are straight up mediocre too. 70-80fps on a GTX 1080 at 1080p, everything on low except textures. Wow. Runs like Crysis, looks like... Halo. Ugh.

I can't hear a thing, I don't know if it's a bug or a sound design choice. My gunfire and footsteps are plenty loud. The only way I know someone is shooting at me is from the red circle. Everyone else's gunfire sounds like they've got silencers on and their footsteps are like they've strapped on pillows to their feet.

Was Halo ever good or was it just a polished AAA shooter launch-title with the most popular console of its generation? You have arena shooters like Doom and then you have Halo, you have war shooters like Battlefield and then you have CoD. At least CoD runs and looks better. I've gone back to Battlefield 4.

Wait until release. It's always a coin toss whether I can get the game to start at all or not. Optimisation could be better. Devs are spergs. Loot box system.

The last mission has got to be the most aggravating part of a game I've ever played. The game just crashed on me for the 3rd time in a row. I am scared to look at where the last save was.

Optimisation is meh.

Drowns in its own artsy-ness. The episodes should have been out a long time ago. I doubt it's still going to be on my computer by the time the next chapter is out.

I got a 100% Elite license for the 5th time (1st on PC) and got the 100% bike license. Too bad there's no official Big Surf Island, you can find the Vanity Mod that includes it (and the fact that it is so incredibly accurate makes me think this is some weird development trickery that can use the same assets for PC and console, weird) but personally I couldn't get it to work. Makes me sad.
Please release Big Surf for PC.

Tutorials and intros: plays attentively and listens to all the dialog
Mission 1: just kills everyone because why not
Mission 2: "I know we didn't warn you at all, but because you killed everyone, the government installed a god-mode turret in the port that kills everyone it sees, even civilians! Isn't that fun?!"
Go ♥♥♥♥ yourselves, devs.

Other than that:
Unintuive everything, from levels to pathways to ways you approach objectives to the choices you make. As in the anecdote above, you never know what the consequences to your actions might be, so they feel like a slap to the face. Restarting missions was a pain, it gets a while to get back into the action. I take my time in games but I have zero tolerance for time wasting.

I went into this game knowing nothing about it, as I do with every game. I never realised it had a consequence system until I got butt-sexed by the consequences. Not fun.

You put your faith in some Queen, bust your ass finding her, even though there is a whole regime going on that is dead-set to stop you. You're supposed to bond with some kid by playing hide and seek with her once. The way the story is set up, you really cannot bother caring or obeying the rules.

There should have been more than one NPC with valuable information at the party level. Finding one NPC that has something interesting to say should be an achievement, not an objective. Especially when there's so many of them.

Pros:
You wear a cool mask.
Good graphics and performance and whatnot.
Good stealth if you're good at it.

Cons:
Everything else.
