After 40hs I still find new things and feel a beginner from time to time having only played with 3 different civs. The diversity of playstyles with each empire due to combinations of authority, civics, traits, etc. is huge.

Like any other Paradox game, is way more enjoyable if you like reading the different events, descriptions, lore, etc. The tutorial really only guides you through the UI and the absolute basics of the game. Highly recommend MaxTheCatfish tutorial series on youtube to really grasp the game and feel any sort of control and agency.

Great to play with friends. Only con is you reach the endgame easily

Only 6 hours in and I´m crying too much. One of the most beautiful games I've every played. Story/music/artistic wise.

Spoilers: I have only taken Gwen to the everdoor and think it'll be too much, can't even think of Atul's turn

Only played career mode so far but I recommend it for every tycoon enjoyer, especially those who played Zoo Tycoon 1/2

Pros:

- Graphics are astounding, in every aspect
- Lots and lots of species to choose with interesting detailed information about every one
- Challenging achievements for those who care about them
- Very detailed habitat management
- In career mode the learning curve is not too steep

Cons:
- Path management is complicated, can't still get the hang of it
- Could have a tutorial for those uninterested in the career mode since it's where you learn how to play
- Construction/building of facilities, shops and staff management can be a little overwhelming at first when new players probably just want to start managing animals and such
- Becoming a DLC fest

An ideal game for completionists and achievement junkies as well as sci-fi enthusiasts. Flying the spaceship across planets and space, discovering plants and animals is very cozy too.

Game's main objective/strength is exploration, planet/system/galaxy wide. But combat, trade, creature taming and agriculture are also some very fun features of the game and they're all related.

The main quest, albeit kinda short and not too challenging, is very interesting lore-wise with an engaging philosophic point of view. Completed in less than 20hs.

Only con I can find is the lack of a proper "real" multiplayer mode where you can progress the quests along with others and build bases together. Some new achievements regarding sentinel hunting and space fights and freighters would be nice as well.

Listen to a podcast, music, while driving late at night all around europe, 10/10 best game for chilling and hunting achievements
