Cute art, great music and a lot of CATS, what's not to love?

I really enjoyed this game. My only complaint is that it's a little annoying re-playing a full case to get an S rank. I wish there was a "post-credits" version of each case, but I understand it might not be technically possible.

The game reminds me of the old-school 8bit games of NES and early LucasArts. Not as quirky as some of them, but not un-quirky (just look at the achievements!).

I think that the Free-to-play format is utilized well. The game is short, but you still don't feel cheated. Instead it feels more like almost a demo for the remainder of the trilogy. I just finished the second installment, and am only pausing to write this review while the third downloads, and I am already eager for the new trilogy coming with a few of these characters!

I haven't played through the entire game, but it's a gem. Requires a mix of quick fingers and really thinking. I very much love that you, once you've aquired more, or bigger, colored lights can go back to levels you've already completed and get very different game play from the first time.

I really like the hidden object aspect of the game.

I am slightly less fond of waiting for energy to restore and getting stuck on a quest, especially since there is usually only one or two at a time. Even more frustrating when the quest is "play this level in night mode" or similar and I'm playing the same level over and over again hoping to get the right mode. Or maybe I'm dumb and haven't seen a button that allows me to choose which mode to play in.

I really liked the game, even though I only played for a little bit. I do wish I had the capability to do in-game saves myself instead of waiting for auto-save.

Also, I got stuck in some weird loop while rewinding, in that conversation with the teacher about my contest entry. I couldn't rewind, but I could also not find an action to perform, nor could I skip forward. But it'll probably work out next time I play it.

This game is cute, so far not super brutal (I am at about 25%), and not a huge game. It really gives me a sense of accomplisment that the save portal tells you how far along in the game you are. I really recommend it, it is hugely addictive. It also has several difficulty levels, which increases the re-play potential for me.
