This is not a good game. It's trying so hard to be Bioshock (and sometimes Far Cry, and sometimes Half Life, and sometimes Portal) and falling short at just about every turn. The writing is inane and convoluted. The protagonist is insufferable to the point where I was begging him to shut up with every line. There are so many things (side quests, plot devices) that have absolutely no payoff. The movement/combat never feels satisfying. Multiple years after launch and there are still glaring bugs. At this point I'm only finishing it because I paid for it. (and I bought it on sale!)
If you get it for free, or say $5, give it a whirl. Otherwise skip it - there are so many better games out there worth your time and money.

Fantastic addicting gameplay, affordable, cross play so I can finally play with all my gamer friends, (and easily link up with them in-game) satisfying and often-surprising attention to detail, funny, outstanding updates from the devs and community engagement... I could be here all day lauding this game. Just too much fun. No regrets. Probably my game of the year.

After being away from Destiny 2 for some 4-5 years this was a fantastic way to get back into it. Yes, other reviewers have a fair enough point, it is lame that the raid isn't included with the game, but I'm still having the time of my life. Everything I love is still here: engrossing campaigns with top-notch lore, art direction, and voice acting. So much to do. I've already gotten dozens of hours in, it's reinvigorated my love for this game that I adore, and all for $24? (I got it on sale) No regrets here, not even a little bit.

I completely regret buying this at full price, it just isn't worth it. If you feel like you absolutely have to play it, do yourself a favor and wait until it's $20 or less.

I've heard of the troubles the game had at launch, but it's clear the devs have gone to great lengths to turn this game around, and they must've nailed it because this game is fantastic. I've been playing nonstop for weeks now with no signs of stopping. I got this half off on a Steam sale and it's been more than worth every penny. Also, the game is definitely at it's best when played with others. Luckily there's a pretty good matchmaking system in place. Highly recommend!

This game is terrible. Optimisation and presentation is so horrible I'm conviced the devs never even tested it. There is rarely any semblence of a challenge presented and the design choices never pay off. It is more often tedious than fun and if I hadn't paid money for it I would be disinclined to make it more than a few hours into the game. The fact that this was someone's attempt at rebooting the Thief franchise is offenseive.

If you've never played a Thief game, get the originals "Thief Gold" or "Thief 2: The Metal Age" instead. If you have played the originals and were looking forward to a new one, skip this and buy Dishonored instead, since it is hilariously more like a Thief game than this one.

It's like Mass Effect meets Diablo 2. Fantastic gameplay, rich story (though incredibly confusing at times), and a modest challenge even on Normal difficulty. It was a blast and I'd recommend it to any Action/RPG fan.
