Tried Darkrp for the first time on Nigel's Army server. Really changed my mind about DarkRp. The admins were nice, the roleplay was pretty serious and anyone who rdmed was kicked. Wish all Darkrp servers were like this.

Awesome game. But only worth your money on a sale.

One reason why this game has so many negative reviews is because the grind is pretty hard at the start for the first 20 plus hours of gameplay(or it used to be until they updated it). But once you unlock other characters, the grind is pretty easy and the difficulty goes downhill from there.
Did I mention this game is pretty realistic? At least in the ranking sense. You have to play infantry before you unlock other classes.

Rather confusing at first, but its a great F2p game. No need for any cash.
