Just as relaxing and visually interesting as Sable, but more polished. Great optimization, runs wonderfully on the Steam Deck. Not as heavy of a collectathon as other games in this genre. It is a little frustrating how many times you need to double back to locations, but not a deal breaker. Most of these times you come back and end up taking different paths. The encrypted messages do a good job of optional world building. You don't need them all, but they do help explain how things escalated to the point in the game.

Man. Every frame of this game is beautiful. A literal kaleidoscope at times.

Cute art style, interesting movement system, and reasonable achievements. At $1.49 currently it's a steal.

Neat little game. Pretty short, and has plays with some interesting concepts and enemies. I do recommend people pick it up as it's reasonably priced and I had fun with it.

That being said, there are some gripes I had. I'll try to avoid spoilers. The dialogue is unskippable and you will need to replay sections of it in the event you die.

The shade mechanic is a little unusual as you need to grab it wherever it is currently on the screen and it does move. This combined with the vignette effect can make it difficult to find some times. Maybe some pull tab or something would make it more obvious to interact with? Once you know how it works it's not that bad.

The Escape Tool sequence is cool, and I like that it's supposed to be spawned alongside the main process, but this feature doesn't work correctly under Proton and there isn't a crash or anything obvious to tell you what's wrong. You'll need to manually launch it.

Those issues aside I thought it was a fun experience.

Really fun little game. Good puzzles and reasonable achievements. Dialogues regarding Cave Johnson are entirely on brand.

People are too fixated on the sudden death mechanic. The game is well rounded and does an excellent job of pacing unlocks so it feels like you're actually progressing.

Nice, relaxing game. I can't wait to see what else Moon Lagoon releases!

I kind of wish there was another zone or 2. Just a little more to justify the vac and scrubber since you get those pretty close to the end of the game.

Near the end of the game you may begin to wish there was a way to craft basic items in the zones instead of returning to home. I'm a little torn there, it's convenient but resource collection does require some traveling anyway.

Resource scarsity is balanced pretty well so you'll always be looking for things to grab while you traverse the zones. I wasn't caught waiting for things to spawn or stuck with a massive stockpile of one thing.

Good game. Great community.

Pretty neat little game. Wonderful voice acting and an interesting story as well.
