due to losing access to an email i made more than a decade ago, i have lost access to ALL rockstar products because they're locked behind rockstars launcher. I still don't understand how it makes sense to let companies have their own launchers when most can do crossplay just fine using steam.

EDIT: Rockstar has actually updated their website with a new form for recovering your account. I figured I'd give it a shot yesterday randomly out of the blue and see if anything will be different. I honestly didn't have a lot of information simply because I originally made my account in 2013 when GTA V came out on my XBOX 360. With just the few bits of information that I did have, they actually totally recovered my account and as of today I can play all of my rockstar games again no problem. So although I still think we shouldn't have to make a 2nd account to play a game on steam, rockstar pulled through after like 2-3 years.
