I have less than 30 minutes in game, why am I writing a review?

Well, that 20 minutes was spent loading the game and changing my character to female. That's it. The amount of time it took just to get to that point was crazy. After flipping my gender, I was met with a nice long lag before I could move a slider to change the eye size....and more lag. Not just hiccups but full on frozen. At that point, I closed it out because clearly I'm not going to be able to play a survival game with this FPS. Normally after closing out a AAA game, there is a little stutter on my computer as it rights itself and then all is good. Nope. After closing out Heat, my computer was done. I had to force a shut down because I couldn't even do a restart. That lag followed me off and even after leaving my computer for over an hour, it would freeze up for 5 minutes if I tried to move the mouse. Can't do it. I wanted to like this too, especially with the homestead addition. Followed it since announcement but should have listened to the reviews. Refunding.


This was running with a 2080 Super, i7, and 1tb SSD.

Addicted.
