As someone who has been on and off again excited about this game for years, it is a little disappointing that it isn't more complete. However, in a vacuum, it is an enjoyable early access Steam game. Unless your life has entirely revolved around critiquing the development process of Ashes of Creation since it began, this game/test should be nothing other than a fun time. It has come a lot further than I expected since the launch of the first Alpha.

Even though it is in Alpha, it is incredibly fun for building spaceships/space stations. Space Engineers 2 is very promising given how good the basics are so far.
