Very addicting game with normal early access jank that can be easily forgiven because of its current state (e.g weird/unfinished character movement/monster animations, unrealized lore & exposition, overlooked meta elements, AI pathing problems, performance issues, etc.) but gameplay-wise its a fun, full product with a ton of content and systems that somehow fit together perfectly with one another. Easy 9/10

Best game I've played in years.

If you were waiting until this game is stable, 1.5 is the time to jump in.

Very good remake and very respectful to the original while also adding its own fresh and reimagined take. Xen is by far one of the most immersive and realistic environments for a fictional alien borderworld, and also pays respectful homage to the original levels while also building upon lore and improving gameplay. The sound design is very detailed and gives the Xen areas the feeling of highly complex, diverse and blooming life to the environment. 10/10

When I first saw screenshots of this game, I was like "wait... SINGLEPLAYER Counter-Strike? No way. I HAVE to get this."
