There is a lot to do in this game right out of the gate. Some of the usual early access game quibbles around balance and bugs. Resource gathering feels rather grindy solo, but with PvP and clan focus I can see why that might be a trade off for solo players to deal with. Camera is a bit goofy and hopefully devs consider integrating some changes people have already created mods to address. It's easy to see the potential here for this game to be something great.

Comparisons to Valheim don't seem entirely appropriate though. I get why people make the comparison but they're very different games. This world is full of life and things to interact with. Valheim has a wonderful sense of exploration of what feels like undisturbed nature. Have not had that same feeling in V Rising so far with all the towns and roaming NPCs. Combat has more options too with the gear levels and magic system. All the bosses to hunt and farm do feel Diabloish so that's a nice difference as well. I love Valheim. V Rising is different and already better in a few ways.
