Alright so, I was really sceptical about this game at first, but playing it made me forget about my scepticism. The game is great, really beautiful and well crafted, with a variety of activities for you to do in and out of Hogwarts. But there is one really big issue that I have with this game that I was fearing might've been true even before launch, and it was very real: I don't really feel like a Hogwarts' student.

This is a really big issue for me, and it really feels like Harry Potter: You're the prophecy child first, a bunch of stuff in-between, and a Hogwarts' student last. For a game that is set on a SCHOOL, you really don't have much activities or immersive classes... they really skimmed through this part of the content and it's a real shame.
Hogwarts Legacy is an awesome game but we are students, and the main scenario of the game, the one that is written on the title, is the Hogwarts School for wizards, and you really don't do much as far as stundent stuff goes. I don't know about you guys but I've been to school and usually you spend some good hours, sometimes even a whole day on school attending classes, and then you went home. On Hogwarts Legacy, you do whatever the heck you want to do, and you can even walk around at night and no one gives a ♥♥♥♥, because...reasons. This is why I don't feel like a student. Where are the actual classes? schedules? activities on the classroom with our fellow students? homework? we're always alone despite having good friends, why? where are our grades? the points we earn or deduct for/from our houses?

Unfortunally, I was really hoping for a Wizarding World game where we were a student from Hogwarts, living a student life with other stuff on the side, much like spider-man tries to be a super-hero, a boyfriend, a best-friend, a student, and a part-time worker. Was it so difficult to create a game that we had to struggle to keep the balance between our "lives"? the life of a student and the life of the "chosen one" ? I really want a game that fully enables me to immerse myself and live the fantasy so many of us have dreamt of ever since we were kids, to be studying at a magical world, in a magical school, casting spells and doing hundreds of magic-related stuff. I want to study magic, I don't want to be a person that happens to be at a school doing things and showing up to a class every now and then.

Maybe it's too hard and complex, maybe the technology just isn't there right now, but if that's the case, the Wizarding World is so vast and magical, literally, pick another setting for the games, because when I'm at a School, I really expect to be attending the classes there, and not just being at the school because I just so happen to be there.
