jumpscare horror game. I like it because I can play with friends and the puzzles are incredibly easy but they make me feel smart. I also enjoy the charm of a clearly indie game made by a small studio

better than cs2 after the ammo update (you can find active communities online that host pugs).

It doesn't have the dumb reload mechanics that CS2 has; superior game.

it feels like all of the fun of battlefield 3 and 4, but with with updated graphics and polished netcode/bullet registration. I love this game. It's my new favorite game. In fact, this has been the only "new game" I see myself consistently playing for more than a few hours. It's crisp. It's clean. It's satisfying. It's good. Get it.

it reminds me of old game's voice comms. Think of Black Ops 1 or MW2 on the Xbox 360. So nostalgic

AI can trigger events, tanks will pummel you until you die instead of go after living players, and feels like a Left 4 Dead 2 beta without any of the fun stuff. Common can hit you from 8 feet away when they shouldn't, and they can climb and mantle without any hesitation whatsoever making it so that if you checked your back 2 seconds ago, you will be getting hit in the back. Cheap damage.

All around, Left 4 Dead 2 is the superior Left 4 Dead. The differences between the original the the second are small yet they always favor Left 4 Dead 2. Plus, Left 4 Dead 2 has all of the maps from this game, and if you want to play it in the original style without the 3 new special infected, there is a mutation for that.

This game seems to be made with novice VR users in mind. It expects you to teleport. There are some instances where you cannot interact with geometry unless you teleport into the highlighted location. Movement is clunky and wasn't thought out. You move your joystick in a direction? You dash in that direction. You want to move diagonally? Sorry, you're locked to a cardinal direction, and you are forced to turn your head if you want to gently ease to the left or right. You turned off the automatic dashing? You don't get to move anymore.

Also, the lack of being able to turn with a joystick is a buzzkill.

It's a watered down version of Doom 2016. I mean, yeah, it's fun, but there are a few fundamental issues with the input method that would be such an easy patch. It's kind of pathetic that it hasn't been patched yet, after all this time.

Halo 2 is great. Halo 3 is awesome. Get this for those two games. It has endless content.
