Honestly so impressed so far. Optimization and QOL could've been a little better but other than that it's been an awesome experience. Anyone that loves FPS immersive sims like Bioshock, Prey, Dishonored, etc. you'll probably really like this. Feels fun, the environments are interesting and atmospheric, good voice acting, interesting mechanics. Also not to mention this is only $18??? Seriously awesome game for the price and definitely worth it. Can't wait to keep playing.

The game is genuinely fun. Some really awesome weapons and abilities as well as a large variety of mods and perks that make the game's progression feel great. Also some of the best movement I've seen in a roguelike. With that said, the negatives are that half of the weapons feel almost exactly the same which is disappointing since the ones that do stand out all feel really fun to use. The game also just desperately needs more content to keep replayability since once you beat the game on max difficulty with a few weapons there's pretty much nothing left to do. It has a lot of potential I just think that there should be some more well thought out boss fights that feel tailored and interesting as well as just more mechanics and progression since it feels like 20 hours is as much as the game is going to get out of me.

Tbh the game is awful and pretty much everyone is weird, creepy, a loser, racist, homophobic, or a child. Most of my hours come from just watching free shows and movies which is the only good thing about this game anymore. There are almost zero well-adjusted normal people in this game. I played a lot a few years ago but I can admit I was a lonely loser and that's the target audience of vrchat. If you're feeling lonely don't let this be the thing you fall into. It's unhealthy. But if you want to watch stuff for free with friends then it's pretty cool.

I think the game has a solid base and feels good to play sometimes. That being said, there are many things that this game simply does worse than ROR2.

- Firstly, you HAVE to loop to actual create an interesting and cohesive build unless you are able to exclude enough artifacts which will take you dozens of hours to be able to do.
- Second, the regen just sucks. It feels like no matter how much regen you get it is incredibly negligible most of the time.
- The passives of most of the characters are practically useless.
- The progress of gaining omni stones and unlocking artifacts is extremely slow and that doesn't mention the fast that you need to get achievements just to have the ability to pay to unlock those artifacts. Also, don't bother spending 100 omni stones at that altar in the shop area since it just allows you to trade omni stones for prisms which isn't helpful until you've unlocked a lot of artifacts and exclusions and have left over omni stones after the fact. I did it in the beginning because I thought it might actually change the game in some way but it really doesn't.

I know this was pretty much all negative but the game isn't awful it just has so many things that build up to the game feeling generally unfun and repetitive. I'm sure excluding items will eventually make the game feel much better as you can actually get items and build up survivability but I have 17.5 hours atm and it doesn't even feel like I'm close to being able to do that.

I want to see the devs rework most of the characters (especially their passives), rework regeneration as it feels pretty useless right now no matter how much you get, and put more items in maps and make them bigger as it currently feels like you just don't get very many items in the initial. It was less than $10 so I'd say it was worth my money but there's a lot of work that needs to be done for me to spend much more time in it.

Fun at first but just not that enjoyable. The progression is way too slow and the only viable play style is stacking upgrades on a couple card and selling the rest since you simply won't have enough money without sacrificing. The upgrades also feel boring and far and few between. Cool art style, the game design is just boring and unsatisfying.

Honestly, I watch Thomas(the developer) on and off and actually found this from a random article comparing it to Bioshock but I have to say, after playing the demo I think Thomas and his team did a fantastic job. It truly does feel so much like Bioshock and Prey and feels unique at the same time. I genuinely can't wait for this game since Bioshock type games are my favorite and there aren't many. I just hope they have some type of voice log system like Bioshock and Prey to give more depth to the story and the world. Awesome work from everyone involved and I'm super excited for the release!
EDIT: I read some reviews and I don't really understand people's gripes with the enemies, AI, difficulty, bugs, etc. I didn't notice any of that in my playthrough so I'd give them very little weight tbh and just give the demo a try.

I haven't played it a whole lot yet but it's honestly super fun and there is an insane amount of content in this game. I also love that it's an indie game and I love supporting fellow indie devs. Give it a try!

Very good. Surprised me a lot and is probably in my top 10-15 games ever. Fun and amazing story. Only thing I would change is the censorship of swear words to "flark" and "Scut". It felt forced and honestly would've been more enjoyable with real swear words.

One of my favorite games of all time and it's only around 2-3 hours long!? An amazing and unique experience unlike anything I've played. I don't really ever cry but this game had me crying for a while if I'm being honest. Fantastic story, gameplay, and A1 voice acting.

I don't even like horror games but this games was amazing. I beat it a while ago but it is still such a memorable story and experience. One of my favorite games of all time and I'll probably play it again in the coming months. Seriously one of the best games to pick up if you're looking for story driven games, whether you like horror games or not. Also, one of the best deals for what it is when on sale. I got it for $6 and I'd pay the full for the experience I got.
