I don't get it, but it's addicting

Awesome stuff. The absolute opposite of a "lazy game".
New abilities give you reason to replay from start. Visuals keep on changing and evolving. Level design is imaginative and never gets stale. And the movement... Ah the movement:) Just enough of a skill curve for it to still remain fun.
This game is a must have!
And the solo dev KO.DLL needs to make more games! Truly a man on the right place.

Heck yea. Me, my brother and our father got together this weekned and played AOE1 multiplayer after like 20 years again:)
The little quality of life improvements work fine. Walking over farms is welcomed and so are gates!
It probably has no meaning for people who never played AOE1, but for folks like us who started their AOE journey on AOE1 this is dream come true.

not worth 20 euros. I would recommend it if it was Free to play, but this is definitely not 20 euros game

the only true FPS

It had
- tons of modded servers
- huge active community
- immersive gameplay
- high skill cap (so fcking huge!)
- best OST ever made!
- incredibly diverse worlds, weapons, charakters, vehicles, everything
- the only way how my brother wouldn beat me or bully me, was to play the game together
- we actually got so great, that whenever we both joined server, people recognise us and if we were on the same team, we would owned amost anyone
- I never ragequited so hard as in UT

10/10, would sacrfice my virgnity again

When I played from our cottage witch very bad internet and high latency I always played spy witch enforcer and auto crit each shot.. Them sweet sweet game mechanics
