This game definitely has a spooky manor and murder mystery feel to it, but the game feels oddly very, very focused on the Escape Room mentality of solving puzzles. Almost everything is a combination or code lock, and the answers are on posters or paper or hidden around the room. The story is very bizarre, and the visuals really play with you as you dive deeper and deeper. Definitely worth a play through if you like feeling smart, or feeling dumb when you finally figure something out that was right in front of you.

This game is one of the few that truly cannot be fully described or captured by simply comparing it to a few other games. It has an intriguing storyline and several side stories that continue long past the initial objective and credit sequence, it involves drafting rooms strategically and the tools to edit the draft pool and options available, has permanent upgrades to make runs better, and the whole while always has some way for you to be following down some thread and making progress. It draws you in, is satisfying to solve or conclude any riddle or puzzle, and has major payoffs for the big plotlines, though it's tough to get into too much more detail without spoiling anything, as the discovery is what is truly the most rewarding part.

You should play it.

This collection is incredible. It's what everyone wants when they pick up a 50 or 100 or 300 in one collection, that every game is intriguing and has merit to it. The discovery of figuring things out, when things click and you know you're in for several more hours, or kicking back with something you've become familiar with and just enjoying it, even chatting with others about secrets in the game, all of it is incredibly fun. Everyone should give this a try.

Strangely addictive, I randomly lost hours just trying to perfect a run or make combos and synergy happen. Certainly takes some getting used to, but not frustrating and the randomness doesn't feel unfair.

Wow. What a game. Starts off so innocent and cute, ends by you questioning what horrifying implications have been made. Combat is quick, furious, and brutal, you will die a lot, and exploration and puzzles are much more reminiscent of Zelda with a hint of The Witness, though that might be a bit of a spoiler. There are also some very fun and unique gameplay mechanics and twists that kept me in awe, in addition to the slight horror elements. I got a bad end after 14 hours, with an offer to find more to get the good end, or do New Game +, so plenty more still to do if I want, and I do want.

Played this game for thousands of hours before I had it on steam. My favorite game of all time. Plenty of mods if you want, there are definitely bugs and some dated systems, but I'll still go back and play vanilla. Love the writing, the little stories, the journal, how much there is, how much of the system you can break if you want, and how there's still something new to find even over a decade later.

A game hasn't grabbed me like this since Sunless Sea. The threat of death and starting over vs the thrill of exploration and finding out just one more thing kept me up for a long time, and the reward of just.. discovery is so good here. I haven't even gotten to any super juicy answers yet, but I crave more of this game. Now with DLC!

Really cool! Deckbuilder mixed with Roguelike, killing enemies gives you cards for your deck, but die once, and start over. Has three characters, each with unique card options to them with some colorless all 3 can use, and see how far and eventually how many times you can beat the game, unlocked new cards each time you get enough points. Super fun to try different builds, lots of relics to pick through, and the style of each character is very different, plus it's still getting updates and a new character is on the way. Addictive and still more to come!

Interesting premise with twisting paths like a visual novel, a couple bonus objectives you can get, and more to come in sequels and other scenarios. The gameplay itself isn't challenging at all, only get this game if you like reading and story elements in a dystopian future, or the present, depending on your view.
