They had a decade to implement 128-tick rate official matchmaking and fix VAC, as Riot did for Valorant. But no, they actually downgraded the already working CS:GO to an awful CS2. Imagine having to input a bunch of cfg commands to play competitively. The gunplay and performance are unsatisfactory.

The game feels rushed, almost like it's in an open beta.
