I did not expect this remaster to hit me right in the memories the way it did. The moment the title screen music started I was back in my old living room playing the original with my dad on the PS3. The soundtrack is still the heart of the game for me. It feels warm and familiar and every track pulls me right back in. I could stand in any area just listening for ages.

The world still has that strange mix of wonder and slight awkward charm that made Oblivion so special. Stepping out into Cyrodiil again felt like meeting an old friend who has cleaned up a bit but still acts the same. The updated lighting and textures give everything a softer and more inviting look without losing the odd dreamy vibe the game has always had.

Performance is where the remaster stumbles a little. I noticed some rough spots and occasional drops during chaotic moments. It is not game breaking but it is noticeable. Still the overall experience is so full of heart that I find myself overlooking most of the issues without much effort.

If you loved the original even a little this version is an easy recommendation. It brings back that classic feeling in a way that is hard to put into words. For me it is pure nostalgia and it made me remember why this game meant so much to me all those years ago.

Awesome game with great replayability

From what I have played till now, I really like the game even though it is full of bugs and glitches. Please fix the tremendously loud cut scenes and the really quiet normal dialogue. Also there are some shader problems so some parts of the map seem to be almost dark. Apart from that I'd recommend the game to anyone who played and liked any of the other parts of the Lucius series.

Edit: Shader Problems have been solved, just waiting for the voice volume bugs :D
