Barely a game at all. The stages take a minute to beat and a lot of that time is waiting on enemies to spawn in designated "kill all enemies" areas.
The entire purpose is to collect various upgrade materials to upgrade your characters/weapons/armor/cards/chips to beat the more "challenging" stages that only up the damage/defense of enemies.
Partial controller support. Using the mouse for menus isn't mandatory, but you'll spend forever trying to use the right thumbstick.

The real issue is: the gameplay isn't fun.
You can't even rapid fire lemons with the base x-buster. You get around 50 shots before it has to reload.

The game looks very nice and most of the stages are quite the spectacle.
However, on many of the stages I had a hard time differentiating the blocks due to their shapes and colors, especially when combined with the various stage effects. There are a lot of different accessibility options for turning off this or that visual effect, but they didn't really do well for me.

The main deal breaker is that at least 25% of the music is, to my taste, garbage. If you're interested in the game, you should definitely look up the music beforehand.

Pretty fun game.
Lots of monsters with many synergistic abilities to make up your team in the 3 on 3 battles. Leveling isn't really a big deal, you can buy level up items and any new monster you catch is only two levels below your highest level monster. So even if you set your slime aside in the beginning of the game and then wanted to use it, you wouldn't have to level it up from 1, you could just catch a new one and it'd be level 30 or whatever when you hatched it.
Platforming is pretty standard Metroid-unlock-and-backtrack fare, except your traversal abilities come from the monsters you fight and catch.
There are no penalties in the platfoming side of the game, fall in a pit or on spikes and you just instantly respawn.
There a few difficult boss monster and team battles, but finding a winning strategy is part of the fun.
The battle animations can take a while, especially once you start getting multi-hit 25+ combos, luckily there are speed up options in the settings menu.

There's some good and quite a bit of bad here.
Overall if its on sale for cheap, its worth a playthrough.
Prepare to reload a lot, you're gonna die from some jank combat.
Worst part of the game is facing any enemy or enemies with a flamethrower. It's more like some kind of flame-spewing, auto-tracking, sniper rifle in the hands of the enemy.

If you want a Castlevania that is shamelessly copying everything from Dark Souls, you'll more than likely like this game.
Good:
Build variety - Many weapon and spell choices.
Exploration - Many secrets, shortcuts and some alternate routes.
Atmosphere - Pretty grim. Dark.

Bad:
Visuals - If you don't find the light ring, you'll spend all game casting light or using a torch. It is really hard to see a lot of the time.
Combat - A lot of the larger enemies and bosses have moves that will catapult you across the screen. It can be pretty annoying.
Platforming - You WILL die more to falls than enemies. There usually isn't very far of a walk between checkpoints so it isn't that big of a deal, just an annoyance.

Enjoyable, if simple, exploration adventure. If you've played similar games you can see where a lot of the inspiration came from.
A lot of secrets to discover, so I would definitely recommend going in blind. One thing I appreciated is that the secret passages have a small indication when you are near by, so you don't have to go around hugging every wall hitting activate all game.
There is at least one secret tied to the real life full moon phase, so unless you change your system date, there is only one, potentially two days a month you can unlock that secret.

I had to force GPU vsync as there isn't an in-game option for it. Without vsync on I was getting nauseating screen tearing, locked or unlocked frame rate.
I also had to switch to WASD for the final boss. Dunno if that was controller driver issues, or the game.
I also didn't like how every time the BGM changed it showed not only the track name, but composer also. Pretty immersion breaking in my opinion.

Overall, if you like searching for secrets and a fairly immersive but easy game, it's worth it depending on how much you pay.

Overall pretty great. Has a job system similar to Final Fantasy V or XI. There is very little to no story, just enough to string you along really. Almost pure gameplay here.
I played on Hard the entire way through and it was definitely a challenge. Once you reach the level cap, and a little before even, every fight becomes a struggle. There is no mashing attack to clear out enemies. You must buff/debuff, mitigate threat, attack weaknesses. Status effects are mandatory, particularly Sleep, Blind, and any DoT.
Money will be an issue throughout the game. Sell equipment you aren't using, there is an shopkeeper that lets you re-buy everything you've sold if you change your mind (you won't.) Make judicious use of the -equip weapon- passives you can learn. You don't have to buy every weapon you come across, many of the job abilities have weapon overlap. Most Rogue abilities can use a rapier or knife, Fencer can use rapier or sword, Warrior abilities don't require a weapon, etc.
One thing to note: the platforming. I had no issues, the jumps you have to make are pretty generous in there tolerances and usually there is very little punishment from missing them. You'll either fall into some hazard that'll immediately respawn you on the platform you were on, or it'll only take you a few seconds to get back where you were. USUALLY.
There are a couple areas where a missed jump will make you take a long circuitous route to retry the jump.
Platforming is a large part of the game, and trying to find things or people you can jump off of to get somewhere that you may or may not supposed to be at yet is part of the fun.
So, if you don't like 3D platforming where you can't rotate the camera, or ball-bustingly hard battles, you will not like this game. Otherwise, you might.

Hitman 3 is pretty good overall, and if you liked 1 and 2 you'll probably like it.
But, I get consistent pauses and connecting to server screens always AT LEAST once a mission. Sometimes it'll even boot me back to the main menu in offline mode. This is a problem that I never had with 1 or 2 and as such cannot recommend Hitman 3.

Absolutely pure video game experience.
If you like 2D action games, you will more than likely enjoy ASTLIBRA.

As the developer says: Try out the demo, if you don't like it you probably won't like the game.

One of the best Rogue styled RPGs I've played. The amount of content is worth the price. There is always another class/race/equipment combo I want to try out.
