Amazing game i just dont get tired of playing it over and over.

Its not that this is a bad game. It will either just appeal to you or it won't. I am a souls like fan as I've played DS1-3, Eldren Ring, Demon Souls, Bloodborne, etc.

For me I play single player games often because I need to pause at a moments notice. This game has no reason to not be able to pause when in strictly offline mode. Also the muted visuals make a lot of attacks or things just hard to see on my laptop. Starting out as a mage with no staff or wand felt odd and made the early game a bit rough. Especially when my spells are worse than my sword by far. Having boss areas be completely non-obvious made for a few deaths where I lost a lot of salt without being able to get it back which was frustrating. Losing gold when you die is also just overly punishing too. Overall if you are looking for a 2D souls like I dont think this is a bad one. It just isn't for me and if you find you're like me I'd spare yourself the time.
