I definitely cannot recommend this game for $40. While I enjoy playing it, it’s riddled with bugs and need so much polish in order to get to where I expect a $40 game to be. The character animations need a lot of work. Falling off of your bike (which you will do a lot!) means that you have to sit through the animation of you character getting back up and also laugh at how messed up that animation is. The session marker spawn button is unresponsive, you usually have to click it a few times to respawn. I would recommend either a “reshred” feature like Shredders has, or make getting back on your bike from falling instant. The character does not walk on the ground and is either 2 feet above it or sunk 2 feet in the ground, or clipping through the bottom of the map altogether. I like the game, but can’t recommend it in current state.

I played through Dust offline for the most part, total playtime is 10 hours (not 100% collectables, just completion)

There's a lot I could nitpick in this game, from the frustration of enemies always respawning when going back to levels you just cleared enemies out of, to the sometimes awful platforming that can feel like you're on an ice rink and other times feel like you're feet are glued. However I kept coming back to complete it and overall really enjoyed the game.

Dust can usually be had for ~$3 on sale and is completely worth it. Best played with a controller/gamepad

+Amazing srt style and fluid/crisp animation
+Voice over work is professional
+Story is decent and unique, not award winning but it's solid

This game has an immense ammount of content between items, bosses, levels, and enemies. Easily over 100+ hours of gameplay if you're looking to 100% it, and since it's a roguelite you can pick it up and play for 10-20 minutes whenever. Might seem slow to start out, but it will pick up as more items and bosses are unlocked. The wiki will be your best friend.

If you're deciding between Rebirth and the original, get rebirth. No questions there.

Art style and overall design is A+

I got this game in a humble bundle and played through this game offline, 9 hours total. Just missing 2 achievements (9 card combo and 10 dmg attack)

This is a neat little single player card game that has a nice combat system, some cheesy dialogue, and cool card designs.

Pros:
+Music
+Card art and themes are unique and diverse
+Grid Combat system works well, you can play lots of different strategies and deck builds
+Adequately difficult and not rage inducing
+Short and sweet, not overly drawn out with hundreds of unnecessary battles
+AI has varying deck strats as well and it is neat to see the variety

Cons:
-Could be too short for some
-Not much of a use for gold, you can only buy cards and boards but the cards are all ones you probably already have and the boards are limited. I ended up with thousands in gold and only bought one board.
-Not much incentive to build other decks. The cards and resources are available, but there's only a reason to alter your original deck. Buying other starter/theme decks would mitigate this issue and possibly the gold issue.

Highly rated game in my book.

Pros:
+Controls flawlessly. Movements are fluid and weapon play is responsive
+The 80's inspiried art style and music create an immersive atmosphere
+Very unforgiving and frustrating, making it satisfying when you figure it out and beat a level

Cons (mainly problems with AI):
-The AI is either brilliant or dumb as a rock. They either aimbot you from across the level or they can't even see you when you're right next to them.
-AI sometimes walks outside of where your player can, making them impossible to kill
-Your player clips in to enemies. The big fat guys will sometimes stand on top of you and kill you yet you can't kill them.
-Some objects seem like the shout have hit detection and you run in to them

Overall, this game provides a fantastic experience. Easy to pick up and play still keeping a level of challenge that keeps you coming back for more.
