The research tree and the technology it unlocks is well organized - it allows for steady forward progress without ever feeling stalled. The blueprint system allows players to easily replicate their best designs and build bigger and faster as new design patterns are discovered. And the train system is fun to experiment with and optimize. 1k hours well-spent, with many more to follow!

Early Access Review
This is one of my go-to games when I feel the itch to write code but don't have any real-world projects to work on. It's really cool to see the game discovered and approved by a security specialist with far more experience and much bigger audience than I have - the attention and praise is well deserved, and I'm excited to see what the surge in recognition will do for this hidden gem

The innovative story of the original Half-Life, remade in the engine from Half-Life 2, with far more love than the official Half-Life: Source - this game is simply amazing. Maybe these guys will bring us an Episode 3 to finish Half-Life 2 (I'd rather they did it than Valve), or the long-awaited HL3... A guy can dream, right?

Zachtronics never disappoints! This is another solid entry in their lineup, with great mechanics and a beautiful and intuitive interface. Zach's works are always far more polished than most Early Access titles, and any needed bugfixes or adjustments are released almost as fast as the issues are reported - Zach (and team) pays attention to his customers :)

Talos Principle is an awesome puzzle game with a great story. The puzzles might seem simple at first, but the complexity ramps up nicely as the game progresses. I thoroughly enjoyed the subtle nuances of philosophy and psychology in the back story and the interactions with a mysterious AI

There are few things as satisfying as flying across the pitch in a rocket powered car in a carefully aimed arc to knock the ball into the opposing team's goal. The physics and gameplay mechanics are amazing, and the alternate gamemodes are a lot of fun as well. I'd recommend this game to anyone who has a lot of free time or little need for sleep xD
