Looks nice... I was doubtful about a positive review because the demo crashed with a fatal error popup and I never got the chance to save the game. But it seems like a good enough demo, hopefully they'll iron out the details soon.

Cute little free game. Short. Simple story. Upgrades. AND MINING!

2 things were a little annoying:
- Controls are a little meh for keyboard and they can't be rebinded.
- The tutorial is part of the main story, so if you play the tutorial first, you will be forced to play it again when you start a new game.

But other than that, the game is ok.

Had a lot of fun playing with my wife. I hope the final game is out soon and not too expensive.

I wish there was a "Meh" recommendation.
This is definitely not a bad game. Graphics are great, music is good, maybe a little too repetitive, but fine. Sound is good, I specially love the "voices" of the NPCs, and how each one is different to show the character personality. The general plot and the stories of the NPCs are good, nothing spectacular, but I enjoyed them.

It has the cozy life sim vibe that you would find in games like Stardew Valley, but is set in a much darker world.
Way darker. You have to perform autopsies, you will witness witch burnings, etc.

So far so good. My problem is in a few little details.
- You can do some level of automation, but you can either put stuff on repeat forever or a one time order for X amount. There is no option for craft until you have X, which for me is something basic when implementing automation in games that involve huge amounts of crafting.
- Maybe I'm a terrible player, but it happened several times to me that by the time I got some technology it was pointless. I will only give one example: The Printing Press. But there are others. Suffice to say, that there are stations and skills that I never built/used.
- Mechanics are not consistent. Some stations have a crafting queue you can access and edit at any time. Others, like the furnace or the alchemy bench, can only have one order at a time, and you cannot do anything else with it until it's done. You could build another, but the thing is huge and space is limited.
- Most stations will just throw stuff on the floor after finishing, which you can pick up. But zombie stations require storage space in order to continue producing.
- Space for building is super limited, stations have very different shapes and I found it very difficult to fit stuff in the assigned areas.
- Working areas are not that close to each other, storage is not shared, too often I found myself just moving items all around the place.
- Crafting recipes that require tiered ingredients can only be crafted one at a time for some reason.
- When transferring items from/to the inventory, I have not found a way to transfer one stack at a time, it's either one item or all items of that type per click.

There may be others, but these are the ones I can remember. As you can see, none of them is particularly bad, but the sum of them all resulted in me not being able to fully enjoy the game.
Don't get me wrong, I liked the game. I played for almost 100 hours and finished it. I just think it's not fully polished. And the fact that there are 3 DLCs at the time of writing makes me assume that all my concerns are just intended behavior. So I just hope that my negative review makes people think twice and consider if this game is really for them or not before buying.

It's a good game. Not a great game for me, but certainly not bad.
The only actual downside is that it was a little short for its price. I played it all, which took me a little under 20 hours.
The mechanics are kinda "meh" and they get a little repetitive after a while. But other than that the game is very nice.
Dredge is mostly about the atmosphere and the narrative, and at that it excels.
If you are into eldritch creatures, an eerie atmospheric game, and a short lovecraftian story, I definitely recommend it.
I would score this as a 7/10 game.

The best zombie survival simulation I've ever played. It has very steep learning curve, so you might get frustrated the first few playthroughs. But it is a ton of fun if you push past the first few deaths.

The sandbox options let you customize pretty much every aspect of the game, so you can find the perfect difficulty balance for you. And if there is something that the game won't let you do, chances are there is a mod to do it. There modding community is very active, there are even mods that add a main quest for you to win the game by escaping the infected zone.

There is also multiplayer were you can do coop or PVP and have a quite different game experience.

Things to keep in mind:
The game is still EA, and even if the devs keep posting devlogs and there is a clear roadmap, updates come slowly and release dates are not announced.
It is definitily a game were you probably need to use the wiki or watch some videos from more experienced players if you don't want to take years learning the ins and outs that will allow you to live longer, the tutorial only teaches you the bare minimim.
Some people complain about performance. I haven't had any issues. But some people are very sensitive if their games do not run at 120 FPS. I don't even notice unless it gets really low.

This game is everything I expected it to be.
Yes, it is early access and it has some issues with balance, AI and whatnot. But it is still a great game with excellent graphics, music and SFX.

Not much to explain. The game is very simple yet very fun.
There are a ton of unlocks and upgrades that add a lot of replayability.
The only thing I can criticize is the music: It is too repetitive for my taste. This is early access, though. So it's probably going to be improved in the future. And there's an easy workaround: Turn off the game music and listen to your own playlist.

After 8+ hours playing (+5 in the demo) I'm loving this game. It is a peaceful base-builder. Just relax and keep terraforming. Unlocking new buildings, expanding, moving on to the next tier of tech, rinse and repeat.

At this stage of development, there are some rough edges, but mostly aesthetics, like the rain looking weird or solar panels not turning to face the sun.
The game runs very smooth on my PC. It crashed once but all my progress was autosaved apparently so I lost nothing.

I enjoy shelter building / base building games. This was no exception. I definitely recommend it. Even if there are many similar games out there, Mr. Prepper seems provides a unique experience in my opinion. Can't exactly define what it is though.
There are some things that I would change, but they are not necessarily negative. They are just what I would prefer or what I expected to find in the game.

SPOILERS

The game is more focused on the story than it is on buiding the base itself. This is not a bad thing per se, but that being the case I would expect the story to be deeper and/or longer.
The fight system did not seem to match the rest of the game. The fights seem to be there only to add a different game mechanic.
The entire ending was not very attractive to me. The whole final level seems forced / rushed. There is a weird "final boss". There is an extremely long dialog saying goodbye to characters I had not grown attached to. And there is an unnecessary and not so believable revelation.
Agent inspections are a nice touch, but from a gameplay perspective they did not mean much. You simply put everything in the basement and only have to remember to cover the entrance for the inspection.
The crafting system was ok, but I would balance the variety a little. There are a bazillion different food items you can cook, but there is only one smeltable item.
